We chose this cruise because of the places it visited, as never been before. Enjoyed all the ports and trips we went on. We thought the Azura crew handled the bomb scare at Gibraltar port very well. I hope the person/s responsible realised what delays and chaos they had caused though!!!
We enjoyed the fantastic food and will miss the lovely scones at afternoon tea! The drinks were not too expensive either, compared to other hotels we have been to. It was also good to meet lots of different people on the ship. My tummy suffered a little, around the dreaded Bay Of Biscay area, but didn't put me off.
Embarkation and disembarkation was very quick. A lot nicer then waiting around at airports! We will probably choose a smaller ship next time, just personal preference. Facilities were very good and we enjoyed the night time entertainment.
We chose to opt out of the gratuity, to give the best share of tips personally to the most deserved staff. The amount added to the account each day is a reasonable amount, but our restaurant waiters were rather miserable and service was a bit slow. Our cabin steward was excellent and wine waiter so friendly and kind.
Our outside cabin was big enough for us - P328 and we were near the Atrium, Costa coffee and shops on a deck above.
All in all, we had a lovely time and will definitely cruise again some day!
