I live 30 minutes from the port so no transport issues. Arrived at 1.30pm and was in our room for 2.00pm. Went to the Lido buffet and explored the ship. We returned to the room at 3.30 with the luggage outside room.
As you cannot get Islay malt whisky or mataxa brandy on the ship we put a bottle in each case. The cases had a piece of paper inside each saying the xrays had detected prohibited articles in the cases but all was well. The bottles where still in the cases so go figure.
The trip to cabo was very enjoyable. the Tandoor buffet is outstanding but for the long queues of 30 minutes to an hour. The main hold up was the slow production of naan bread. Beautiful beef vindaloos and indian dishes. this buffet is only open for 3 hours at lunchtime but should be open 24 hours in my opinion.
