It has been three years since we had sailed on Celebrity and boy has the food quality and staffing levels gone down hill.
Service in the main dining room was hurried and very unpolished. We had booked this sailing a year in advance and still didn't get the size table requested(large). We received a table for two that was packed so close to other tables for two that everyone had to move in order to let someone leave or come to there table.
The selection of food was grade B and quality was B as well. Because of the open loby concept of this ship design there is constant noise coming up the atrium on the ground level.
Our cabin was fine except only one electrical plug was by the mirror in the middle of the room. Thankfully we brought our own extension cord and powerstrip to handel things that required electrical power. The steward used duck tape down the middle of the floor to prevent us from fallin over the cord. I can't imagine anyone thinking one outlet per cabin would be enough. (maybe this saved them a ton of money by only having one outlet.)
We missed all but one of original port due to bad weather/sea conditions.
The least enjoyable part of the cruise were the rude, loud and inconsiderate group of passengers that sailed with us.(in all our years of cruising we have never meet such large group of self impressed people as on this voyage).
