Worst Cruise Ever, Terrible Food, No Regard for Safety

Sail Date: August 2012
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: Other

Bahamas celebration was worst cruise line I have ever taken!! If you are booking a cruise stick with Norwegian or Royal Carribean. To start, the whole reason we went on this cruise was because Craig Campbell was supposed to be there...they didnt tell us he cancelled until we already checked our baggage....so that was for starters....next, they decided to sail even though there was a hurricane just west of where we were going and they did almost nothing of a safety drill. The food was aweful not to mention the same thing everyday. They have all kinds of hidden fees on food, drinks, etc which are 15% on top of whatever you paid for gratuity. There are also gratuity added for day of $12 per person.

The Pool was the size of a bathtub and you could see through the side so everyone could see your bottom half.... there was also barely any entertainment. Freeport Bahamas where they drop you off for a day was a delapidated town in the ghetto that they drop you of in for a couple of More hours to take you to a straw market with very pushy bahamians trying to sell you everything.....oh!! and when we boarded the ship we had a swarm of a couple hundred bees attack us on the top deck when we set sail during the "Opening cruise party"....

The seas were very very rough due to the hurricane so the boat was rocking all over the place. Anyone who booked an excursion had to fight to get their money back as all of them were cancelled. Then due to the hurricane isaac on the way back the port was closed so we couldnt get off the boat for an extra 8 hours with barely any accomodations whatsoever. When we finally did get off the cruise it took 4 hours to go through customs because they tried to push 1200 people off the ship all at once to get the next cruisers on. Seriously the worst experience. I have nothing good to say about this cruise line. Less
