We have just returned from a great eastern mediterranean cruise on the Thomson Majesty. We had an outside plus cabin on deck 7 which was very comfortable and a good size. We were concerned that being o. The promenade deck meant people could see in but special glass meant that we could see out but nobody could see in.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. We ate at the four seasons restaurant and the self service.
Ports were good. It was easy to do most ports yourself but we did book 2 excursions which were very good- to see ephasus and Athens.
Entertainment was varied and of a good standard. We saw the firework display when we were at Santorini which was held to celebrate the volcano on August 19th. The captain gave permission for us to stay at Santorini until the firework display was over which was an added extra. Fantastic show too.
We thought the ship was great and the decor was good- the best Thomson ship we have been on so far!
Would highly recommend this ship and both the pearls of the ageon and the Adriatic explorer itineries.
