We loved this cruise to bermuda. Pros and cons of course. First the pros:
- kids club was awesome - my kids LOVED it. kids pool was super fun for them too. the entertainment was very well rounded - there is something for everyone. they have lounge singers, karakee, comedy shows, etc. The food was very good - lobster tails on the first night! one night the buffet had a chocoholic dessert bar - unbelievable!!! Special note - make a reservation at Cagneys when you are leaving bermuda at 5:30 (free bottle of wine too) You will have an amazing view leaving bermuda! The fitness center was very nice and modern. The spa was wonderful. We bought a week pass for the pool for $120 - i would highly recommend this if you want some peace and quiet. The staff is so nice and helpful too.
- Now the cons. The outside pool is a nightmare!!! the music is super loud - extremely crowded - it's a big party - so if that's your scene, great. We opted for the swimming in the pool in the spa which was not crowded at all. They change the main outside saltwater pool water every night because I bet it is super gross at the day with all of those people - so if you want to swim - swim in the morning! Freestyle dining means sloppy americans!! There are def a mixed crowd of people. We dressed nicely for dinner every night and it was wonderful.
We did not book any excursions through the boat. On our own, we rented jet skis and also a whaler boat and cruise around. Would highly recommend both. Snorkel park next to the boat is a joke, don't go there if you don't have to.
All in all - it was a great experience and i would highly recommend this cruise. Just know that the ship is big and there are alot of people, but you can find places for some quiet time.
The kids will have a blast!!! GO!
