We heard that princess was a upgrade to the carnival cruise line that we went on 8/11 so we figured for our honeymoon we would upgrade to princess. it was the biggest mistake we are still trying to figure out how princess is a upgrade.
We purchased the unlimited soda card but yet it was impossible to get a drink from one of the crew members and if you finally get the waiter it takes about 45 minutes to actually receive your drinks unlike carnival where they had people walking around asking people what they like to drink and you would have it in 5 minutes.
the boat would be good for someone who is really old and doesn't mind sitting and watching/listening to people play instruments all day that is seriously all they had going on unlike carnival where they constantly had new exciting things to do each day.
Not to mention that at the end of the cruise they were charging us stuff for things we never purchased and charged us twice for things that we purchased before we even got on the boat which im still fighting to get my refund for that which is completely hard worst customer service.
princess was the worst vacation ive ever taken in fact if our first cruise was through princess i would of never of gone on another cruise again it was that horrible. so i recommend people to pay half of what they would for princess and go to a better company with way much better customer service a company that actually cares about their customers go with carnival!!!!!
alaska was so beautiful and the ports were great.
by the way if you go to victoria i would recommend getting a taxi over the shuttle its cheaper and much faster dont have to stand in line that wraps around a few blocks to get on :D
