Ship Facts: Thomson Dream Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Thomson Dream Deck Plans
Brilliant cruise on the Thomson Dream
We chose to cruise with Thomson as we wished to have a relaxing beach holiday prior to embarkation and we were too lazy to book the flights, transfers, hotel and cruise ourselves! Thomson also fly from our local airport so the holiday was truly hassle free. The flights, transfers and embarkation were all on time, efficient and stress free.

We have cruised with Thomson previously and have always enjoyed the entertainment, service and dining experiences whilst on board. Whilst the ships are not glamorous, they are clean, comfortable, welcoming with a "homely" feel. Having cruised previously on the Spirit and Destiny, we feel that the Dream has the edge. The entertainment was the best we have experienced on the Thomson fleet and whilst the service and food on each ship has been great, we felt that the staff on the Dream, especially in the Orion restaurant, were exceptional.

A member of our party has a serious peanut allergy and the waiters/catering staff could not have been more helpful. A menu was presented each day with the following day's menus, and any choices containing nuts were highlighted. We had the same table reserved each evening so that the waiters could ensure that our bread basket was not contaminated. This was greatly reassuring and allowed us to relax and enjoy our meals without worry.

We were slightly worried about our cabin location on embarkation as were were located next to a stairwell. However, we had a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances.

If you prefer to cruise in a small and friendly setting, then I think you will be more than happy with the Thomson Dream.
