I will break up my review into categories on the ship.
Stateroom - We had a balcony. The room was just a bit smaller than the Carnival Cruise I recently went on but nothing to complain about. Air conditioning worked fine. The shower backed up once but was fixed immediately.
Service - The stateroom service was excellent. Steward introduced himself and then basically went about his job without bothering us. The love the animal towels each night. The service in the dining room was so-so. They could have been friendlier and more energetic doing their job. Once night, they lost my wife's credit card/room key but found it within ten minutes.
Food - The food was good. Went to Cagney's Steakhouse one night and for 20.00 a person, that was excellent. If you want extra lobster tails, they're 8.00 each but you can have as much of anything else that you want. In the main dining room, the choices was more or less the same each night with one or two different choices. Could be better. The buffet was the usual. I just wish that they would have trays for your food instead of just plates. Plus, the drinks were located at the beginning of the line instead of at the end. Breakfast in the secondary dining room was good and room service food each morning was good....fruit and coffee.
Entertainment - The shows were excellent compared to other cruises I've been on. The female ventriloquist was very funny and witty and had interactions with the audience. The musical act, Gloria Estefan Show, was excellent as well. Very good voice and energy. Very lively show. the Newlywed Game one evening was hilarious and the Bingo games were fun.
Casino - The casino was good. Blackjack Tournaments, Clot Tournaments, Poker Tournaments was well as the usual card games, roulette and craps. Dealers were good, considering it's a cruise ship.
Crew - The entertainment crew was good and worked hard. The cruise director was OK and her assistants were funny and witty. The crew helped out with dancing at the pool parties and the ship threw come rocking parties at the pool.
Pool Area - The pool area had plenty of chairs around the pool and four hot tubs which were usually available.
