We had a 12 night cruise on the Carnival Breeze from July 12st to August 2nd 2012 and loved every minute of it !
On the whole, the ship was amazing and the cruise was amazing. Few negative points :
- pools far too small
- decks very crowded on sea days (which is why we got a premium vista balcony !). The problem is made worse by very inconsiderate people racing up at 7am and "reserving" 8 chairs for the rest of their family and hardly every using them. Carnival introduced a system where chairs could be reserved for maximum of 40 min else staff removed towels and personal gear to be collected later. Certainly helped a little but it wasn't enforced with any real consistency
- shows ok - mainly just singing and dancing. Shows on other cruise lines have been much better
Other than that - quality and design of ship was incredible. Service/staff were amazing. We had a fantastic room (Premium vista balcony) but even inside cabins (that the kids had :) were a good size. Food was outstanding.

Will definitely be cruising Carnival again - quite keen to cruise the same boat once it heads over to the Carribean
