In starting my review, I am trying to think out my words very carefully. Overall, I did enjoy my cruise. However, I did not enjoy the ship.

Embarkation: Overall my embarkation process went very easily. Probably due to the fact that we had the "Skipper's Club" so we were able to go to a private room with no line to do our paperwork. Although the other people in our group were not in suites, they were able to join our line since they were our family. I did notice that the lines for non-suite guests were a bit long but I can't say for sure how long their wait was. I am just thankful that I was not one of them.

Cabin Detail: We booked the Category 12 Penthouse suite and it was quite spacious for me, my husband and our two kids. But, that's where the good stuff ends. We paid over $5000 and I have to say, we did not get our money's worth. Although the space was adequate, it was quite un-kept. One would never expect to pay that much money for a cabin with stains all over the carpet. The bathroom while large with a bathtub seems like a handyman special. The tub had long lost its original luster and was dingy looking with multiple repairs to the caulking visible. And honestly, the tub was one of the only reasons we booked this cabin. We thought it would be easier to give the kids baths than to try showers. However, we never did give them a bath since my husband felt it was too grimy and would not let their tushies touch the tub. As far as the amenities of the room, well they non-existent.
