Fantastic cruise

Sail Date: July 2012
Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Embarkation: Venice

From the moment we boarded the ship we were delighted with the quality of the fittings and furnishings and especially the professionalism and friendliness of all the crew from our steward to the Captain.

We had a stateroom with balcony which was very comfortable and more than met our expectations.
The food and service in the formal dining rooms Da Vinci and Michaelangelo was outstanding. The food in the self service restaurants was also excellent but a little manic at times.

Two restaurants you pay an extra 25 $ per person: Sabatini's and Crown Grill. Didn't try Sabatini's but Crown Grill was awesome - steaks outstanding and waiting staff brilliant!

The ship is kept immaculate all the time and the crew work extremely hard - they should be commended!

The sports facilities and entertainment was outstanding.

Drinks, wine and trips are expensive and Princess add 15% to all purchases. I wonder if they would sell more if they charged More less..?

Overall, we had a fantastic 12 days and would definitely book again. Less

Cabin review: Ruby Princess Oceanview Double with Balcony Aloha Deck R238

Riviera 238 port-side, deck 14, lovely balcony. Could see bridge well (Captain used to wave to us occasionally) very quiet, no disturbance. Queen bed, lots of wardrobe space and hangers, fridge etc. excellent quality fittings and fixtures.

Walked out of small port and into town. Lovely resort, took a swim from rocks on nearby small promontory. Would visit again.
