We spent a week in Nice and then flew to Rome where we stayed 2 nights at the Lancelot Hotel. Its 5 mins walk to the Colosseum and was great. Large room and free wifi and the staff were very helpful. We did our own sightseeing in Rome and it was a full hot day walking round the sights. Vatican City was first and I recommend booking online as the queues were enormous even at 8am.

The Lancelot hotel organised a driver to take us to the port the next day and we got our luggage taken off us within 3 mins of being out of the car. Within another 5 mins we were checked in and Ryan our Concierge escorted us onto the amazing ship and straight up into the Haven. We loved our room. It was a 2 bedroom courtyard villa with a balcony. Everything was amazing especially the 3 headed shower with floor to ceiling window from the 17th floor. The 2 person bath next door was great too also with floor to ceiling window. The kids had bunks and their own bathroom. Our Butler Jonathon gave us a private tour of the Haven which included, pool, spa, gym, epic grill, epic restaurant and epic lounge area. It had 2 sunbathing areas and also private access to the posh (18 and over) deck on floor 19.
