Ship Facts: Celebrity Equinox Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Equinox Deck Plans
Equinox July 2012
We have completed over 30 cruises this is our 4th Celebrity cruise and our second trip on the Equinox.

We booked a guarantee balcony cabin and were very pleased with a port side cabin on Deck 9. The cabin was clean and well laid out and always lots of fresh towels in the 'roomy' bathroom.

We dined in the MDR second sitting and shared a table of 8 which was super with friendly table companions every evening. The food was good to excellent depending upon our individual choice and not the quality of food, service w was friendly and efficient. I am certain the other cruisers felt the same judging by the grand applause for the staff at the farewell dinner the noisiest yet.

We purchased a soft drink card before we boarded and definitely had value for money due to the hot weather and the excellent coffees in La Bachia.

The shows on board were the usual cruise variety the exception being the Cirque style show which was exceptional, how do the cast do that twice a night and apparently a rehearsal beforehand!Unfortunately the crew show was poorly attended maybe due the the timing 11 am on a sea day.

The cruise staff were all friendly and efficient service was very good to excellent. The Captain had a friendly and familiar presence around the ship and it was really good to see the Officers integrating with the passengers.

We do not usually cruise in school holidays but really enjoyed the younger age group on the ship particularly the teenagers around the ship who appeared to be really enjoying themselves.

The cruise itinerary was excellent with a balance between Culture and holiday destinations.

Embarkation and disembarkation throughout the holiday was exceptionally efficient.

Would I go back on The Equinox most definitely.
