Arrived in Seattle the day before and spent a relaxing afternoon and evening enjoying the waterfront and all its activity! Highly suggest arriving day before, it just adds to the excitement of the whole trip!
Embarkation was a breeze. We left Crowne Plaza via coach bus at 12:00 and by 12:45 we were ordering drinks poolside! It was all very festive and the crew only added to the excitement.
The Pearl was immaculate! She sparkled as though she were brand new! Every area we encountered was clean and shiny.
I can't say enough about the crew we encountered. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I had a little trouble understanding a couple of guest service representatives, but that was OK, I finally understood them!
We ate mostly in the main dining rooms and thought the food was excellent and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of options. We did eat one night at Cagney's and although the food was excellent, probably would not spend the extra $25 a person to do it again. Garden Cafe was a zoo at times, but we learned to go at non peak times and discovered the food was just as hot and fresh any time we went.
Alaska was gorgeous and Glacier Bay unbelievable! It was truly a vacation to remember.
