Carnival Magic 7 Day Western Caribbean Cruise
Webster's Dictionary defines the word "magic" as "enchantment or something that seems to cast a spell". With the Carnival Magic cruise line you indeed receive great enchantment and that "spells" fun and relaxation!
Whether you are a family, a couple, just friends, or by yourself, if you are looking for a unique vacation option, then taking a cruise is the perfect choice. There are plenty of cruise lines, but the Carnival Magic offers something for everyone!
As a recent and rare traveler by cruise line, listed below are my impressions and review after my trip on the Carnival Magic:
Food: Everyone who travels on a cruise talks about the quality of the food. With Carnival Magic, the main restaurants offer a wide selection of food to satisfy all discerning pallets. If you want to get away from the large dinner crowds, there are two excellent restaurants (one Italian and one fine steak house) which both require reservations. Although there are large crowds for More the lunch buffets, the lines do move quickly.
Activities: Looking for something to do? Whether you want to be active or passive, Carnival Magic offers the best of both worlds! If you just want to bask in the sun on your own, there are plenty of secluded areas to do so. If you want to be part of the crowds and activities, Carnal offers plenty of fun onboard events. And fun is the imperative word!
Nature: Being onboard a cruise line brings a sense of nature to your life. You can sit outside and have the warm ocean breeze brush across you.
Timeliness: When you think about a seven day cruise, in the middle of hurricane season, you think of delays. But with Carnival Magic, they were prompt at arriving at each location. In addition, the boarding and debarking processes were efficient and in spite of the large number of travelers rarely did you feel like you were being herded off and on the ship.
Aesthetics: The beauty of the ship, the rooms, and the islands visited were amazing!
Sea Sickness: If you are concerned about getting sea sick, don't. The Carnival Magic is a new and large cruise ship and despite the currents of the water the movements were rarely felt even for a first time traveler. If you are really concerned, there are plenty of over-the-counter medications that you can take as an extra precaution.
Tour Excursions: The Carnival Magic 7 Day Western Caribbean cruise offers some of the best of island life. Make sure to include the Dolphin Swim and Ride in Cozumel and Turtles, Turtles, Turtles in the Grand Cayman Islands as part of your itinerary. The only negative on the tours are you will wish you had more time!
Inside Cruise Entertainment: Carnival Magic offers some of the best entertainment available. You'll only wish you had more hours in the day because there were so many good shows to go to. Mark M was a juggler and entertainer like none other I have seen. He had you constantly laughing and clapping and wanting more. There were also a comedy club with fantastic comedians, a magic show, and countless variety shows. If you are an aspiring American Idol singer, there is plenty of karaoke. If Las Vegas is a favorite spot, then visit the onboard Casino where there are plenty of casino games to keep you occupied and a chance to win plenty of money! If you have children, there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained!
Cabin: If you are concerned you are going to be claustrophobic in your bedroom, don't. The Carnival Magic suites are very roomy, modern, and have plenty of windows to offer excellent views. The bathrooms are large and come with a large shower and Jacuzzi tub. The balconies are large and offer another location to sunbath or relax outdoors.
Add each of these nine points together and it spells the word: FANTASTIC!
A cruise for a vacation is definitely a must! The sadness of a vacation ending is not just having the week end, but leaving your new Carnival Magic friends behind. Whether it is the cruise director, the wait staff, or the maids, each of the Carnival Magic team has been trained to be the best and it shows each and every day!
Lastly, but equally important, I would recommend using a travel agent to help coordinate your travel. I would highly recommend using Tim and Audie Lawley at Audielcce at the Cruising, Company, Etc. Covering the most minutest details, they ensured the trip would go smoothly ... and it did! Call them now and get ready to book a trip that will truly spellbind you! Less
