I consider myself to be an experienced cruiser, a liberal thinker and pretty much easy going. The Carnival Destiny was the dirtiest, smelliest ship I have ever sailed on. I was extremely disappointed in the decor of the ship, the cleanliness and all around atmosphere. The entertainment on the ship was lacking unless of course you consider catching the show at midnight something up your alley...I don't. The food was just mediocre. I am not sure how many times you can re-name prime rib, chicken and duck. The service was also mediocre. Because we only had a table of four and I guess we looked our age (over 50), we figured we must not have looked like big tippers because our waiter hardly glanced at us except to take our order (he did not even serve us). So he got just that, a mediocre tip.

The passengers on this ship were out of control. There were roving packs of out of control, obnoxious kids everywhere on this ship. The hallways, the stairwells, Lido deck, everywhere. Their behaviour was deplorable. They were trashed! Drunk...and I don't mean 16-18 year olds, I am talking about teenagers 12-18 years old! It was awful. How did they get served I wonder. Some people were afraid to leave their cabins after dark.

Some people were afraid to go in the pools the kids were so wild. And speaking of pools...they hold about 20 people if that.
