First and last Cruise--EVER

Sail Date: May 2012
Destination: Baltic Sea
Embarkation: Other
Anyone under the age of 80 will HATE this boat. We paid a total of £2700 for 8 nights for a superior twin room. Anyone over 5'10" will NOT be able to sleep in the 2'6" wide beds-with a space of 2 foot in between----goodness what a regular room was like. Whole ship shabby, food terrible, entertainment for over 80s only.
Found out this cruise line sells places with 25% off price if booked for following year--but some people had paid only £299.00 with £400 being standard. We booked 8 months in advance on phone through WTH(uk)ltd, who promised us beds that would fit my 6'6" husband in a superior room and fine dining---We complained but were told the boat was full--yes sold with give away prices.
You had no choice who you sat next to at breakfast and lunch with people smelling of smoke and filling their plates as though they had never seen food. The trouble with cruising--and this was our first--is that you really have no where to go--you are CAPTIVES-----Our More first and last cruise--as this company along with booking agents ruined what was meant to be a holiday to celebrate my husbands two year successful fight with bowel cancer.
