I had given up on ever experiencing a cruise holiday and I was pleasantly surprised that my wife readily agreed to a cruise on the River Rhine last year.
Viking River Cruises did not let us down!!
Our first experience was great even if the weather was rather wet precluding evening drinks on the sun deck.
The on board evening entertainment in the cocktail bar was so good and had us dancing most nights.
This is not to say that there are no areas where the already excellent product may be improved ,but these were only very miner points such as having to queue for ones food on occasion and lack of Internet connectivity in the staterooms.
The staff/crew were fantastic taking great care of all of us and ensuring that where possible our whims were satisfied.
We shall most certainly be taking another river cruise ( in Europe) with Viking.
