My wife and I had a wonderful time on the Carnival Liberty. Everything was first class. The only part we didn't like was the time it took to wait in line to check in (about two hours). Once we go on board we had to go to deck 3 for the safety drill. This took almost an hour crowded in the Miami Heat waiting for the actual drill that only took ten minutes. It was almost 5PM before we were able to relax in our cabin and unpack.

The ship, crew, and waiters and staff were very professional. The food was amazing. More food than you could possibly eat and we tried. The lobster night was the best. One of our dinner companion had four lobster tails! You could literally order three starters and three or more entrees for dinner each night. I suggest requesting the late dinner at 8:15pm so you don't have to rush for the early 6PM seating.

Every port was beautiful and I suggest the following excursions: snorkeling on grand turk, rain forest and old san juan tour in puerto rico. A cab ride to Megen's Bay in St. Thoms. On Grand Turk skip Margaritaville restaurance and go the the "Last City Restaurant" and try the Conk and Jerk Chicken.

Cabin Review

The cabin was very comfortable. We had a first floor cabin with a port hole. we had a good view of the ocean and port. The bathroom and shower was a bit small but adequate. The service was great. They cleaned the room twice a day and gave fresh bath and beach towels each day. They even made a different pet towel each night in the form an animal!
