Amsterdam

great little town. wished we had more time there. Because the boat docks in Zeebrugge, 45 min away, we felt rushed to make it back to the ship

Brugge (Bruges)

Paris is a good two hours away so we rented cars at the port (Rent-a-Car) and drove to the d-day sights.

Do it!

Driving in this part of France is easy. We had a gps and drove along the coast and had time to see four sights plus drive into Beyaux.

the drive is only about an hour to Omaha Beach. So easy, everyone on the boat was jealous they did not do that. Bus tours are nice but if you do a little research you can pull it off yourself. We took back roads to the sights and the main roads back to Le Harve.

Le Havre

Big ship where there were all kinds of options from the cheezy bar and disco to a very nice "cigar bar" Also the nice bar all around and then public gathering center where you can hang out on the three floor above looking down.Took a five day from Amsterdam to Copenhagen with stops at Brugge, Le Harve and Kristionsand (Norway)

The ship is a nice 10 year old ship.
