Majesty of the Seas, still a great ship

Sail Date: May 2012
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: Miami

In May we took a 4 night cruise with the Majesty of the Seas as a warm-up before our cruise with the Allure of the Seas. We have been on the Majesty of the Seas 3 times before, and we are very satisfied every time. Although the Majesty of the Seas is a "grown woman", she seems very well kept and look great both inside and out. Everyone who works on board is very friendly, helpful, gentle and always has a smile for you.

We booked flights, hotel and transport through RCCL. We were picked up at the airport and driven to the Sheraton Airport hotel for an overnight stay before the cruise. The hotel was very good, and had a good deal with dinner and breakfast for us. At 11:30 am we were picked up and driven to the Port of Miami, where Majesty was ready for us. Check-in went very quickly and we went to the Windjammer for lunch. Afterwards, we relaxed in the sun on pooldeck with cold drinks and good music until munster drill.

We were 8 people that went together, and we had 4 More cabins in a row. The cabins were perfect size, always neat and clean and our cabin steward from the Ukraine did an excellent job.

In the diningroom we were given a well-placed table for 8, and the waiter from Peru and assistant waiter from Jamaica who also delivered an excellent service, was very effective and enjoyable. The food in the diningroom is varied and very good. There should be no problem finding something tasty for anyone.

Breakfast and lunch, we always eat in the Windjammer. There was never a problem for us to find a table together, and the food is varied and very good. Starting the day with bacon, eggs, English muffin and grape jam is the best start for me.

On this trip, we visited Nassau, Cococay and Key West. In Nassau, we chose to take a tour to see the island. The tour concluded with a visit to Atlantis, which is an absolutely fantastic place.

On Cococay we should just swim, relax in the sun and enjoy the beach life. But it was raining the day we were there, so we took the tender to the island and looked around. Then sat down and ate lunch that they had made for us there. We made the best of the situation, and all in all it was a nice day.

In Key West we had sunshine and great weather. There we walked around town for shopping, visited Sloppy Joe's for cooling down and cold drinks, and saw some of the city attractions. Key West is a beautiful city, and it's very nice that the port is located right in the city.

We were very pleased with this cruise on the Majesty of the Seas, and we really recommended a cruise on this very nice cruiseship. We hope to travel with her ??again in the future. Thanks to the crew for a memorable cruise. Less
