Embarked at Barcelona (having stayed in the city for two days prior to cruise)a pain free, smooth process. Picked up a glass of champagne and wandered through the ship overwhelmed by the size and beauty of the Celebrity Solstice. What followed was a truly fantastic 12 nights/13 days of bliss. The service was excellent, food fabulous, ship amazing. Cannot fault our first cruise at all. Thank you Celebrity!

A brilliant Stateroom 8228. Lovely Balcony - not overlooked by anyone. Great uninterrupted views.

Dining was an amazing experience. Waiters fabulous. Professional at all times. Food was amazing in all restaurants.

Deluxe Veranda 1A

Cabin 1A

8228 - right near the lift in mid ship. Great place to be. No noise at all from people coming and going from the lift. Great to be centre of the ship. Stateroom itself was compact but perfect. This stateroom has uninterrupted views out to see and not overlooked. To sit out and watch the world go by is just perfect. A balcony is a must have. 8228 is port side so great views when sailing into destinations. Would recommend this stateroom but did not see other staterooms so cannot compare.
