Having read some of the reviews we were somewhat sceptical as we departed.

We need not have worried, despite being passed its best days the ship is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The cabin was on the small side but again maintained and and spotlessly clean. Towels were changed throughout the day and every night there was a different towel sculpture waiting to welcome you back to the cabin.

The food available in the restaurants was of very good quality and plenty of choice. The service was first class and delivered with a smile by staff who seemed to love their jobs, nothing was too much trouble for them. Read more
