Great Cruise Baltics Cruise!

Sail Date: July 2012
Destination: Baltic Sea
Embarkation: Harwich

As I previously stated we stayed in the Aft corner, room 1100 which is a junior suite. We loved the room, it was spacious, the balcony is very big, the bathroom is nice, the closet has ample space, and bed was comfortable. The TV is still the old "boob tube" tv which takes up some space. We had ample shelving space to store all of our items. Our room steward Erwin was great and took care of everything we needed.

I want to put a big disclaimer because I know some people would say you shouldn't be watching TV anyways...We like to watch tv before we fall asleep and the our selection was TERRIBLE. The same 2 movies were on rerun for a week straight and the we were told the tv shows were the same as 6 months ago. To many this wouldn't even cross their mind but if you watch for a hour before bed it is like groundhog day....

Now to all the of positives. Food was above average....It started out really really strong and then got weak in the middle and then strong again More towards the end. Our waiter and assistant waiter were amazing!

The ports..
St. Petersberg...We did a tour through ALLA tours and have Julia and we had a amazing time. They were very courteous and took us to all of the places. Words cannot describe how well they did in respect to our trip. They are located on tripadvisor and I will give them great remarks.

In Stockholm--Go to the old town and the Vasa Meusum

In Tallin-- We did a bike ride which was really nice. The shopping is great and the town is amazing. You will really enjoy this stop.

Copenhagen- Very nice place. We did a boat ride and had lunch. I wouldn't get too excited about this port but just enjoy a free fun day on land.

Helsinki- We did a Paulo Tours which is on tripadvisor. We went to Poorvo which is a amazing little town. Spend as much time as you can there! We went town market which was really nice as well. The rock church was really nice and the ceiling of the church is amazing!

Gothenburg- Nice port, we did a boat ride which was really nice. It is another fun relaxed day. Take the ship provided shuttle for 15 dollars per person per direction.

We had really good weather the whole time which was really nice. Don't go on a Baltics cruise if you are looking for lounge chair weather! The stops are great! Going under the Great belt Bridge is really really fun and make sure to stay up. Overall I would recommend this trip to everyone! Less
