I know that Holland America will no longer sail to Bermuda, but if I'd had a more positive experience on this. one of its last cruises, I would consider a cruise to another destination.
Here's what was good:
1. Entertainment - professional performers, not too loud, lots of classical music, etc.
2. Staff members who went out of their way to please guests.
3. Eight level upgrade at no additional cost.
Here's what was not good:
1.One small pool and six hot tubs - weather was hot; pool was closed for two days because a diaper was found floating in it and the pool could not be emptied while in port. It was much too hot for six hot tubs. Every ship should have a small kiddie pool. Every ship should have an "adults only" deck and pool area. Even when the pool was open, there was no way older adults could use it safely. Princess offers this, and I will sail with them in the future.
2. The food was good, but not great. The dining room was not open for lunch for the four days that the ship was in port. Buffet selections were "Mall Food Court" quality.
