Thomson Celebration Cruise Review by The Fabulous Four: A wonderful holiday
A wonderful holiday
After any unfortunate issue at Glasgow Airport re the hand luggage allowance(I have written to Thomsons re this), everything else flowed like clockwork. This is our third cruise on the Celebration and lived up to and indeed exceeded the usual standard. Our cabin was kept clean and spotless by Budi, we had enough hanging space and the beds were comfortable. We were met on our first evening in the Meridan Restaurant by Dwi who knew us from the Dream - he made us so welcome and introduced us to Ronaldo who was our waiter for a fortnight - the service and food was superb.
We had the all inclusive package and our wine waiters Richard (first week) and Raphael (second week) kept our classes topped up!.The Head Waiter - Fermie was a perfect gentleman, so gracious and pleasant. Junella and Cez in Horizons were so keen to chat and provided excellent service in such pleasant surroundings. We hope young Ambru who had just come aboard from Indonesia settles in and enjoys his More experience. The only criticism we could make is that the entertainment was not quite as good as previous ships. The boy singers, Luke and Marcus were good, but the girls just didn't have that "zing". Wheras the crew show, particularly the second week, was the best we have ever seen! The Unforgettables were great, Tony, who serenaded us the in restaurant was super, and Daniel the Head Waiter could be a young Tom Jones any day. Young Marcus, who was participtaing in his second show, could be a professional singer - what talent among the crew!
We have already booked on the Celebration for July on next year! Less
