I am a first time cruiser so please realize while reading this that I have nothing else to compare it to. I'll try and organize this review by the categories this site uses. First, though, since there is no category for this, I will say that I booked this cruise through my local AAA office after finding very little variability in pricing on myriad cruise websites. This cruise was for my wife and my 15th anniversary. We splurged and booked a category 12 (suite with balcony) stateroom.

EMBARKATION -- Because of the category 12 booking we got to skip to a shorter line for our document verification after passing through security. However, I did notice that the general line was short and also moved very quickly. Our suitcases were picked up curbside at the pier and were in our stateroom by the time we got on board. Overall, very easy getting on the ship - a nice start.

CABIN -- As stated earlier we booked the highest level cabin on this ship. The cabin was very large with a king sized bed and separate sitting area with a large couch and coffee table. We had a large balcony with room enough for a lounge chair two smaller chairs and a small table. We paid a bit more for this cabin but it was well worth it. Again, no complaints about my cabin.
