We started our trip at the Iberville Suites in New Orleans on the 4th of July. We visited the Insectrium, Riverwalk, rode the ferry, watched Amanda Shaw perform in front of the Saint Louis Catherdal and watch the Duling Barge Fireworks display that night. We got to the terminal early and didnt have to wait long before boarding.
I loved the location of our room. Seemed like we where close to everything and loved that we could walk to the front bow. Really didnt like that instead of a bunk bed or sofa, they placed a very comfortable mattress on the floor that my daughter slept on. Smelled smoke in the room a few times...i dont know where it came from. maybe a draft under the door of someones suite from them smoking on the balcony.
Smooth sailing for the most part rocked a little one night which is expected being in front and high up. Loved the ship decor. Service was awesome! Dining room great! Wish the buffet time started earlier and lasted longer. Seemed like when i wanted to eat a few times i had to get pizza or a sandwich when i really wanted salad or something else.
Cozumel was great. we went to the cab stand on our own and got a cab. looked like the driver tired to fall asleep a few times!!!! this was our 5th time there and our 2nd visit to mr. sanchos. wish our ship would have spent more time there. we had to be back on the boat at 3:30 :( Our daughter had a blast in cirlce c.
