This was our 3rd Norwegain cruise and I was very disappointed in our trip. Our consierge was never there to check on us, and the service in the dining rooms (with the exception of Cagney's) was only fair. We felt like we were being rushed through dinner. THey served our appitizer and our salad was sitting on the side so that as soon as we took our last mouthful the salad was put down in front of us. By the time we got our entree we were full from craming down the first 2 courses. We asked the waiter to slow down but he paid no attention. A shrug of the shoulders was the response we got. We are older and do not stay out late so dinner is our favorite part of the day.

The main theatre's entertainment was sometimes painful and the cruise director was blah! Our last cruise to Canada/New England was so great I couldn't believe we were on the same cruiseline. The assistant cruise director was better thank goodness but we needed to go to the later shows like "Newlywed Game" etc. to actually enjoy ourselves. I was so disappointed because the amount of money we spent took two years for us to save so we could get the cabin that we wanted.

One of the most disappointing afternoons was that they were offering a Veterans afernoon at one of the pubs. My husband is a disabled vet and couldn't wait to attend. When we got there they offered nothing. Just asked us what we wanted to drink and said "Oh, its just so that the veterans can get together". Not even a patriotic song was played.
