Well, I don't really know where to begin. We have previously traveled on Royal Caribbean, Navigator of the Seas a year and a half ago and had a wonderful time with incredible service. Perhaps that is what we compared everything to. My husband is 44 and I am 38. My husband is in sales and I am a marriage and family therapist. This year we took our 7 year old son. I will give you the pros and cons as we saw them.

Our embarkation out of Galveston was okay, we got on the boat in about 1/2 hour. It was smoothers leaving out of Miami, but we didn't complain. My overall impression of the ship was that it was nice, very large, similar to Navigator, except the Navigator had a huge atrium and a gorgeous plaza area. The travelers on this ship were primarily from Texas since it left out of Galveston, which was fine. Yet, we actually preferred the international crowd out of Miami because we got to meet a lot of people from other countries.

The room was pretty small, if you are taking children, I would recommend an outside cabin or balcony. It was too cramped for the three of us. However, we are always out of the cabin on deck and doing things, so if you are very active, it probably won't matter.
