We have returned from sailing the Greek islands with the Splendour and was a little disappointed with the standards of the ship. We have sailed with her before and found the standards have really dropped in the restaurants. Mediocre food in Main restaurant and repetitive in the windjammer. I was really surprised that their is smoking allowed in the casino, we walked thru unknown and finished gasping for air by the time we got out the other side so if you like a gamble and don't smoke you need to go in with a mask. Drinks a very expensive as they also charge extra 15% on all drinks.

Good side is we had a great cabin on deck 6 with a balcony which was awesome. If you need a quite hour that's the place to sit. The ship was full of Italians and Spanish so was quite noisy and some very rude. If you book on deck 6 6958 be prepared to walk a distance to your cabin it was like a maze the first few days. The cabin was very small but very quite too. It has just had a makeover so looked new and smart with a nice comfy bed and new bed linen. Staff did not seem as friendly as the norm for RCI. Last time the waiters had time time to chat show tricks etc but not this time they were busy rushing around the restaurant it looked as if they had cut staff to a minimum,

We did get a cracking deal to go on this ship but don't think we would sail on her again.
