Excellent flight from Manchester to Venice with Monarch, not so going home. Flight was due to leave Venice at 1.40pm but was late taking off by 2 hours and the plane made an emergency landing at Frankfurt because of a technical fault. Arrived back in Manchester at 8pm.

Embarkation was by ticket numbers, had to wait about 30 minutes to clear security.

The ship was nice enough but the cabin was the smallest balcony cabin we have ever experienced on any cruise. The bathroom was pathetic, knees touching the walls in the toilet. The toiletries consisted of lavender hand wash and shampoo.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Cabin B2

The balcony cabin was very small, the bed was a good size but the sitting area was minute, old fashioned TV, uncomfortable settee, virtually no dressing area, not enough sockets, wardrobe adequate just, bathroom was tiny and cramped.
