Sail Date: Jun 2012

We sailed the Summit to Bermuda in May 2011 and same trip & ship again in June 2012. The Summit was renovated in January 2012 & we thought it would be interesting to see what changes were made plus we really needed a mini vacation. Our original veranda room was upgraded to Aqua Class of which we did not know a lot about. Much to our delight Aqua Class included a great many perks, the best being the Blu Restaurant and the Persian Garden. I'm not going into detail except to say that Blu is intimate and serene with a great menu and of course exceptional Summit people who care about your comfort and needs. The Persian Garden is a relaxation spa where tension just melts from your body.

The major changes that we saw were the removal of the 11th floor running track and teen play area replaced by Aqua Class rooms.

The food in the 10th floor Waterfall Cafe and grill was really good. Blu is not open for lunch. A great place to try different meals from different cultures. We were fortunate enough to get an invitation to the Captains Table in the MDR. A great experience, truly nice people, great food, but man is it noisy on that back glass wall.

Cabin Review

Cabin 1A

Our veranda cabin located on Deck 11 on the aft port side of the ship was comfortable, quiet, and very spacious. Storage areas are fantastic. Be aware with this location you may feel a bit more ship movement.
