Every Cruise, now about 20 in total, has been the same, Entertainment, variety of Ports,, Comedy etc, and then there is the food. Until now,, Carnival Cruises, has actually been among our favorite,, Food. They have always had wonderful food.. A great variety, of options,, and wonderful Specialties,, each and every meal.. This time, the first night, I thought it was a joke, when I was handed what looked like a copy from my home computer,, of a menu, with Lousy food choices.. We are use to having options like, Duck,, Rabbit, Escargot, and choices like you would expect at fine dining. Rather, you had chicken, burgers, meatloaf,, soups, salad,, flank steak. Never even a decent, Steak on one menu.. Not offered any appetizers like escargot not even on one night. We heard rumors that because of their disasters at Sea,, they are hard up budget wise,, and trying to cut corners,, on the food budget.. No kidding.. Well, this was more than obvious. Well, we wont be going back. We have previously taken many family members on several cruises with Carnival, and I was not proud to take our guests to dinner, for these offerings.. It was very frustrating, Some nights, it was hard, to decide do I want bean soup, or corn chowder,?? I would rather have had Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail,, like before!!!!

Much of the Food that we did get, was cold, greasy, or overcooked.. And remember, we have returned for our 8th cruise, because in the past we LOVED all their food.. So, I am not just saying this because I am a whiner,, It was really poor quality, and has really really changed, from what great food we were use to enjoying on their cruised in all the years before.. We began cruising with Carnival, our first cruise, with Carnival, was December 2005..just so you will have an idea., and all have been Fabulous,, until now.

The service was very good, the entertainment was fine, But, the food was very very low quality, Like for instance, eating at a Denny's Restaurant, or something,, like that?? Now, Our 20 cruises have been spread over several cruiselines,, but we have always believed that Carnival held their own, when it came to food.. But, we were very very saddened, to see the HUGE decline, in their food quality,,,, because, it is for that reason, and that reason only,, that we will not be returning to the Carnival Cruises ever in the future.. Which to us is a shame.

Cabin Review

Interior

We had been told by our cruise Expert that our cabin had 185 square feet and a small sofa to sit on, and unfortunately it did not.,,
