TRULY SPEECHLESS

Sail Date: June 2012
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Like the title says we are speechless and don't know where to start. Just arrived home today from the 7 day cruise.
Walking up to the ship thought we were going onto a floating 5 star hotel but even better. Our boat sat next to a Carnival Boat making the Carnival boat look like a dingy. So many folks were laughing and commenting..we can fit two of those into our boat.

Excellent and fast intake, waited less than 5 minutes to get our "Sea Pass Card" extremely easy pass to use for EVERYTHING even to use when off the ship at some site at the port. Able to check our account daily on the interactive TV..keeps you from overspending and being surprised at the end.
Had an excellent meal in the OPUS waiter was EDIN from Bosnia...sooooo nice very cordial did not seemed rushed made us feel at home.
Took a tour of the ship which is massive but with so many ways to find your way around such as the TOUCH SCREEN browser huge on every floor tells you where you are where to go More and what was happening at all times...no need to carry the book in your pocket like some other cruises.
Everything and everyone was so spread out you did not even realize you were on a ship with 5000 people, never waited for anything.
Excursions we to die for..I would recommend always booking those ahead of time also paying for your gratuities ahead of time and planning and booking all your shows ahead of time. Definetly reserve a time for dinner and book your show around that then you will never have to wait to get a seat at a show, dinner or the line to book excursions. Just walked right past everyone.
Would recommend the Jet Ski tour in Labadee, Haiti or the long and exciting zip line there. In Jamaica you MUST do the zip line and Dunns Falls combo...that is of course if you are adventurous, we had kids as young as 11 doing it and they seemed to have fun. Carry cash for items but DO NOT stop at Dunns Falls to buy anything you will get bothered by locals.
If your into it you can rent a Scooter when in Cozumel, travel the isle, its a big circle you cant get lost, and when you rent a Scooter you can go to any beach there for free, do an excursion not affiliated with the boat but right at one of the beaches comes out cheaper. YOu can also do an excursion we did the Beach Buggy/Snorkel. Be sure you can swim and are not afraid of open water the water was rough that day took a good bit of kicking to get out there.

You can also relax on the boat in any of the Solarium pool/whirlpools adult only AWESOME or ride the wave rider, became pretty good at it fast, or do the on board HUGE rock wall as much as you want. So many great places to eat have to go to CHOPS GRILL-AMAZING STEAK 40perperson specialty restaurant or IZUMI 5perperson great SUSHI. If you don't want to do the specialty places just eat the WINDJAMMER for LUNCH big selection or park Cafe in Central park Great Panni's there or your own OPUS dinning room for dinner the food is just as amazing.

The show ohh the shows..we sat there with our mouths open..the Come fly with Me production...AMAZING..Hairspray AMAZING..American Idol contestant Jerome Bell had his own personal show AMAZING..got a chance to talk to him personally. Talked with the cast of HAIRSPRAY toured back stage took pictures..hung out with the Actor who played Munroe from Too Close for Comfort..I used to watch that all the time in the 80's.

I will right a book if I keep going, we have already booked for next year, join the Crown and Anchor club get a big credit for advanced booking and have a year to pay it off or cancel cant get better than that.

Royal Carib has invented and revolutionalized cruising in style, fashion and affordability. Once you go Royal Carib you never ever go back..Don't waste your time and money on any other cruise line or SHip. Less
