We were on the ship within an hour of arriving at the port. We sailed during spring break which was great due to the number of young people. A lot of families, but it was not a problem. We always come in a day early. Our ship waited almost an hour and a half due to passengers coming in from the north where they woke up to snow.
Once on board, we checked out our room. We had a standard balcony room. The bathroom was cramped, but who stays in the bathroom on a cruise? The closet space was perfect and the the bedroom area was very adequate. I could have used a couple more channels to choose from on the television.
The ship was amazing. The first afternoon, we toured the entire ship. Great pool areas, but during days at sea, the lounge chairs around the pools can go fast. Especially with the number of passengers. The movies under the stars idea was supper! They played g rated movies during the day and the movies at night were tickets only. The one thing we failed to know, was that the two movies at night required free tickets. So when we found out that we needed tickets, our first choice of nights was booked. The 300 sq ft LCD screen is amazingly clear, even in bright sunlight. Great sound system too. And you can be at the pool area at the next section forward and not even hear the sound.
