Just got back from our mini cruise on the Queen Elizabeth it's a lovely ship

the cabin clean with nice furnishings had a tv & a fridge but NO kettle which was annoying as i didnt want to use room service i prefer to make my drinks how i like them. we only used the buffet as we don't like using the dining rooms on cruise ships as have had bad experience's in the past, did hear people talking saying it was very slow and they had to walk out after 2 courses or miss the show.there was tea & coffee available and fruit juices 24hrs a day in the lido which was great for us as we don't drink alchahol

the entertainment was not the best I have seen but the musicians were very good and there were a group of young lads (Beatles) who put on a great show we stopped at zeebrugger there was a free curtesy bus(although not publicised) to blankenberg then we were suppose to be going to Guernsy in the channel islands but the shipping forcast was for gales so the commodore made the decision not to go which caused a huge disapointment not only to us but the majority of the passengers on board so he took us to boring cherborg instead god knows why ???? felt like we were on a ferry stop not a cruise at that point!!! I think the gratuties at the end are massive $33 x2 in other words £21 for each person for 3 days i think thats a massive amount of money especially as we didn't use the dinning room only the buffet oh and i tipped the cabin boy!!
