City centre is only 10 minutes walk - local bus â‚¬2.60 for the whole day if you dont want to walk - hop on hop off available for â‚¬10 - nice city

Be careful you will be mugged.  We booked a taxi with the help of the tourist information office in the port very helpful.  The cost is â‚¬40 for up to 5 hours.  Make sure you get a taxi with working seat belts and make sure the taxi man has good english dont accept anything less.  Never pay what they ask for in the shops the price drops like a stone when you walk away.  We went to a museum â‚¬6 each - waste of time.

train from the ship express leaves at 9.30 and returns at 4.40 from Rome for â‚¬15 each and then the hop on hop off bus â‚¬19 per adult kids free

9093 cabin had a double bed and sofa bed -  good size room - clean and tidy - beds and towels changed every day and beds turned down at night -  balcony and air con - good shower

If you dont pay for the tour they give you no local information you need to wait until you get off the boat and talk to tourist information who are happy to provide you with the information.You must understand that the Italian on board have no manners (its in the breeding) open the door for them and you could be there for 15 minutes.
