Ship Facts: Allure of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Allure of the Seas Deck Plans
Fabulous Family Cruise
We took our children and grandchildren on the Allure and we all had a fabulous time. We had all sailed 2 years ago on Carnival and there is just no comparison to what you can do on the Allure!

Embarkation and Debarkation were the easiest we have ever had on any cruise, and we have been on many. Our oceanview balcony cabins were perfect as were our room stewards. We ate in the MDR every night and the food was very good. The waitress was wonderful with the six children aged 5-10. One couple ate at Giovannis and another at the Asian (don't remember the name) and enjoyed some childless dining.

The kids ice skated, boogie boarded, loved the kiddie hot tub and "swirl pool". They ate tons of ice cream and pizza. They did karaoke and danced at night and loved the aqua show and the ice show. They also loved seeing a 3D movie of Madagascar before it was in the theaters.

They did not care for "Chicago" and even the adults thought it was a little boring. It was long with no costume changes and just seemed tired. Blue Planet was great.

In Nassau we did the Atlantis aquarium and dig (don't waste your money - there are better aquariums elsewhere and it was outside and very hot) In St Thomas we had a great day at Magens Bay Beach. In St Martin everyone did there own thing. My daughter's family went on an all day beach and snorkel trip that they loved. (Bring alot of sunscreen - they came back a little burnt.) We took the other children on the water taxi which they enjoyed and bought some souvenirs.

We all can't wait to go back in a couple of years. We will probably do the Oasis so the shows will be different.
