This cruise was exciting & hardly seemed real because it was last minute planning! The embarkation process in New Orleans was very quick & easy. We did arrive early, so that played a big part of the easy process, I'm sure!
The food was very good for the welcome lunch, & even for all the meals. Don't miss the delicious strawberry bisque soup & crab cakes offered in the dining room. Also, the tiramisu is great too. Even if you are not a fan of that normally, I recommend you try it! Our waiter was great. He had a fun personality & remembered everyone's preferences at our table. We didn't get to know or see much of the assistant waiter though, which is okay.
I liked the small feel of this ship. There were fun activities, even though we had some rain.
Cozumel was a great port. We went to Passion Island. If you take the catamaran boat, sit on top if you don't want to get wet or get sea sick. However, do use sun screen while on the boat because there is no shade! The island was beautifu & offered fun activities for all ages. Please note that the excursion says it includes a mexican buffet & an open bar. Well actually, it is just a buffet in Mexico, but doesn't have Mexican food, with the exception of excellent chips & guacamole! The open bar is limited as well.
Debarkation was also an easy process. We did the self-assist with no problems. This was a great, quick trip on a well maintained smaller ship.
