This was my second cruise on Carnival. I loved it. It was the first time I took the kids. The food was great. I like the idea of the free dining hall. I felt like V.I.P. during captain's night. Everyone was dress and looking so nice. It was a change from seeing everyone in bathing suits. The room was cleaned everyday by the time we returned. There was always something to do and always more than enough food. Loved the towel pets by the end of the cruise I had a small zoo.

My youngest had a blast. Everyday I picked her up from camp Carnival she was a different character. They kept the kids entertained, had parties for them and gave me time to collect my thoughts during the day. However, my oldest was 12 at the time of the cruise and the camp for her was a free-for-all. Anyone 12 and older are allowed to sign themselves out of camp and run around to do whatever. I trust my daughter but I did see some teens drooling all over each other in one of the lounges. They need to be watched a little closer because the little girl that I saw may have gone home pregnant. I think 14 or 15 and older should be able to have that much freedom. And, She missed the meet and greet so when she went the next day for an activity they looked at her like she had 10 heads. Many of the activities she tried to go to there was no one there cause the kids were running amuck. One activity was just an open game room.

Our cabin was semi-clean there was a pair of shorts under my daughters bed. I would have rather them make up the upper bed than to have put sheets on the couch.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5A

All cruise ships have tiny closets, the floor we were on was just high enough to see the waves splash against the side of the ship. TV channels were minimal. If you a heavy TV watcher you will not like cruise TV.
