Sailing on the Epic is pure luxury. The crew is so friendly and attentive. We had a Balcony Mini-Suite for this sailing. The room was well appointed with tons of storage. The shower was huge compared to any other ship. The bed was wonderfuly comfortable. Each night our room attendant folded a towel in the shape of an animal. We had the pleasure of again meeting Kai Turunen. Mr. Turunen is the Hotel Director for the Epic. What a wonderful man. He not only takes care of this ship; he is down on the pier greeting everyone when you return from the excursions. We had a ton of fun on the Epic. The shows are amazing. We loved the Blue Man group and the Circ dinner preformance.
Free Style cruising allows you to eat when you want to and not have to dress up for all the meals. LOVE this. We have sailed with Norwegian 6 times. We love the Norwegian ships so much; we booked 2 more cruises. Do not be afraid of the Epic. Yes, it is a big ship; but it is so well appointed and planned you get around easier than a smaller ship. Sail the Epic and you too will be a loyal Norwegian.
