Sail Date: May 2012
Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
Embarkation: Venice

If you like to socialize with English speakers in a non-smoking environment, do NOT go on Costa Favolosa.

There are NO "NON SMOKING" AREAS. In 7 days, we were probably exposed to the equivalent of living 3 years in a heavy smoker's home. Europeans chain smoke.

There were 46/3000 people that were English speakers. That is less than 1%. I speak Spanish and English, but if you want to socialize and have fun, you've got to be able to understand the other guests. Most spoke Italian or German.

They have very very few activities for English speakers, although the English speaking hostess, Natalie was nice. Most of the activities were during the day, when you are off on excursions. The ship was quiet at night except for some dancing by the pool, but the activities were sparce.

Food (except in formal dining room) was horrible.

Charged for every little thing. I'd rather have paid 100-200 more, and not been charged for extras.

They have a More big TV screen for the pool. They used it for advertisements, not movies, trivia games, fun socializing activities. Less

Great balcony, but above a lounge that played music until 12:30a each night. Was not warned by booking agent.
