We arrived at Manhattan Cruise Terminal at 11:30 and it was a breeze through check in, less than 15 minutes. Then we sat for our number to be called but there was a problem with the camera system and it took a while but was not too bad.

Once on the ship we did some exploring and went to Horatio's for some lunch. We were extremely surprised by the efficiency of the buffet staff and the quality of the food, do not miss the deli. Always a line at the deli but well worth it the sandwiches are awesome.

Our room was ready at 1:30 and we went to check it out and were almost immediately greeted by our room steward who introduced himself, answered questions and made us feel welcome. Room seemed adequate size, extended balcony was nice. Furnishings and bathroom were in good condition. The bed was hard but comfortable. Carnival seems to have it down to a science when designing the room because closet and shelf space were far better than other lines I have sailed.
