We have sailed with Celebrity 8 times now and after each of our cruises with them we wonder how it is that each cruise becomes our favorite. The crew of the Solstice provided yet again a favorite cruise for us.

Food: The main dining room provided most of our meals. I think our servers Jose and Dragona out did themselves in service and personality. The food was great but we notice that they have taken away the escargot and lobster bisque from the main menu. That was a shame. The matre di never attended our table to see whether we had any concerns etc. That was the first time in all of our cruises that this happened. The sommelier was also wonderful. His name was Baban Jovanovic and he is a seasoned veteran of serving with Celebrity. His personality and knowledge of wine and all of the ports was outstanding.

We ate at all of the specialty restaurants and I have to say that the Silk Harvest was horrid. The service was excellent but we have had better Asian food in shopping mall food courts. Avoid spending your money on this restaurant.

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Great location (albeit a long walk to elevator), wonderful balcony, just enough storage, washroom is typical Solstice class in other words huge for a cruise ship. Good size TV with excellent free movies to chose from
