A Dream Cruise
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)
Our vacation began with an overnight stay at the Hyatt-Orlando Airport. The stay was great but what impressed me was the ability to check in for the cruise while at the airport. The ride to the port was good and getting on the ship was a breeze.
The ship....what can be said that hasn't been said already. It is simply gorgeous and the staff works around the clock to keep it that way. We don't have children but still enjoyed the family areas of the ship. Seeing all the children laughing and enjoying themselves always brings a smile. The adult areas were nice and a good place to hang out if children are a bother. The shows were great, broadway-style with lovely costumes and wonderful singers. We loved the 3 dining rooms but especially, Animator's Palate, with the guest interaction and constant changing screens. The food was good, even the buffet style breakfast at Cabanas and the three outside deck eateries wasn't bad.....loved the ice cream. Our cabin was clean and More comfortable although we did not see our cabin steward much. I'm used to Carnival where we would see our steward multiple times a day and would always refer to us by name making sure we had everything we needed.
Nassau...been there so many times, no need to leave the ship. Castaway Cay is beautiful. The weather was not that great so we rode bikes and sat on the beach until after the BBQ lunch, then reboarded the ship.
Disembarkation was smooth, as well as the ride to our Disney Resort. Just a fantastic vacation. Less
