Returned from our May 12, 2012 cruise on May 19 with great memories. Fun activities aboard and so good to have so much time in the ports. The coast leaving Kauai was breath-takingly beautiful. Good views from sixth deck mid-ship, portside since we were told that the port side would be best with the starboard side being later with it getting dark and also further out. Our veranda was mid-ship on starboard side so wanted to see the best which was fabulous on the port side right outside the Cadalac restaurant. Even saw a dolphin close to the ship on the way the the coast. As we made the turn to return along the Napali coast we made it to our cabin to change for dinner, to find the coast just as beautiful from our veranda and seemed even closer.
Koleo and China were fun with all the hula classes, lei making classes, etc. Koleo made our cruise extra enjoyable.
Pride of America's dinners don't seem as good as some of our other cruises with NCL and Celebrity Lines. Even so we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and highly recommend it. The Cadalac Cafe has a fabulous brownie ice-cream dessert which is large enough to share if you have had your lunch there or one day I made it my lunch. ;-) Since we like to share a table and meet other people we were surprised that the main diningroom has only table for two at the windows. We usually like to be at the window with a larger seating capacity table.
Still haven't figured out how to meet other cruise critics while on-board and hope to learn that before our next cruise December 2 to the Western Caribbean from New Orleans.
