The cruise was a nice relaxing cruise. Very good ports. Only problem was our cabin was VERY HOT! We had the temperature checked several times. We were told he first time the problem was fixed. Not true. The problem was taken care of on day 4 of our 8 day cruise.
Carnival was not the best cruise line, but for what we paid for the cruise it was a good deal. The food in the dining room was good, breakfast was great in the dinning room. The Steak House restaurant was FANTASTIC! Great value for the price. Our room Stewart was great. She did a great job keeping our ice bucket full and our room very clean. Room service was good. They told you how long it would be. They were right on target.
The decor of the ship was very FUNKY!! But I was not on the ship for the decor. The entertainment
Was just so so. There were several nights we decided it was not worth seeing the show. The comedians were very good, get there early to get a seat.
I never felt like the ship was crowded. All in all a very nice relaxing vacation.
One last thought..when we arrived at the port it was pouring rain. There was all kinds of luggage out in the pouring rain. The porters did NOTHING TO GET THE LUGGAGE OUT OF THE RAIN!! The porters do not work for Carnival, they could not have cared less. Carnival tried to help out the people with ruined cloths. It was a mess for many people.
