This is the first review I have done. So here it goes.
The port in Vancouver is well laid out and easy to navigate. The Celebrity check in was fast and painless we were on the ship pronto. First to check out the room. We had the cheapest inside you could buy. the room was clean roomy the bathroom was large no shower curtain sticking to you while showering. The carpets were a little worn and that was throughout the ship but clean. I understand it is going in for a refit this year. As to the cabin service we got ice every day morning coffee whats to complain only the bed sheets not being changed for the 7 days we were there.
The dinning was hit and miss. The buffet was the one of the poorest I have had. The food was the same every morning served by some of the most unhappy people. Lunch was not much different so we went to the dinning room where things improved greatly. In fact the dining room food by and large was very good to great. Most wait staff were good but still More
that get them in get them out mentality. Also we were not offered coffee after dinner on two night. Maybe because we had any time dinning no insensitive for extra tips? We did dine in their extra expense dining room (Morano's) $40.00 each, money well spent fabulous food.
The ports where good we did not use the ships excursions so no comment on those. The entertainment is what you expect on a cruise ship. The Milos the ships naturalist was great fun and interesting. Over all not a bad holiday on the Century. But would I sail with them again.
Not so sure. Except for our cabin steward the unhappy staff that you encountered everyday did not make for pleasant experience. And the lousy buffet. After all food is the big part of a cruise is not? Less
